Background

You'll receive this quest when you meet with the Bloody Baron at Crow's Perch in Velen West.


Walkthrough

When you talk to the Baron, you'll learn that Ciri stayed at Crow's Perch for a short time, and so you'll decide to examine her room. In her room (#1), you'll find a Top belonging to Gretka on the floor, and you'll find the book The Natural Obscurity of Curses on a table. When you turn on your witcher senses, you'll also detect some discarded clothes on the floor, and you'll decide that Ciri must have left in a hurry.

To continue your investigation, you should talk to Gretka in the pantry (#2). She'll mention that Ciri had a friend who was in trouble, and that Ciri wanted to save him. She'll also be happy to get her Top back. At the end of the conversation, you'll earn 100 xp for completing the quest.
