This ancient fort was taken over by gnolls who made it their stronghold. The fort is also inhabited by xwarts, which are gnoll's lackeys. The gnolls use it mainly as a base for their operations and to held their captured prisoners, which they either torture to death or eat.


1- GNARL AND HAIRTOOTH:

Two Ogrillons who ask you for 200 gp. to pass over their bridge. You can bargain to pay only 100 gp., but you can also kill them for 175 Exp. each, a Potion of Hill Giant Strength, a Potion of Cold Resistance and the Gauntlets of Dexterity.


2- CAVE:

There are some Xvarts but no loot.


3- CAVE:

Here, the Xvarts are also backed up by a Carrion Crawler.


4- CAVE:

You have to fight some Xvarts before you can access the chest in the middle of the cave. The chest contains 95 gp., 3 Potions of Healing, a scroll of Magic Missile, a scroll of Larloch's Minor Drain and the Tome of Leadership and Influence (+1 Charisma, permanent).


5- GNOLL CHIEFTAIN:

He is also flanked by 6 Gnoll Veterans and 6 Gnolls. The fight should not be hard, just don't run blindly into the gnolls. Instead, use the space between the pit and the wall to fight the gnolls one by one, using a strong melee fighter in the front line and back him up with missile weapons.


6- DYNAHEIR:

Depending on whose quest you are on, you can either save Dynaheir (LG, Human Female, Invoker) and have her join your group or kill her. If you are on Minsc's quest, Dynaheir asks you if she can join your party. If you refuse, she will leave the area with Minsc. If you are on Edwin's quest, you can either kill Dynaheir or take her in your party so that Edwin can watch her closely.
