Did we miss anything in this location? Is there something we didn't discover? Let us know!
This small halfling village is perhaps the most hospitable place on the Sword Coast. Its population is friendly and they welcome you to their homes. They have also been spared by the iron shortage and bandit raids that plague the coast at the moment. However, there has been a lot of activity at the Firewine ruins, just South of the village. A lot of kobolds have been spotted and they seem more organized than ever. This makes the folks in Gullykin rather worried.
1- GANDOLAR LUCKYFOOT:
The mayor of Gullykin. He can direct you towards Durlag's Tower(ToSC) and also towards the Firewine Bridge ruins. He also offers you the services of the local temple (3) in case you are in need of healing. If you talk to him a second time, he tells you about strange events happening near the Firewine Bridge ruins and asks you to investigate. Once you kill the Ogre Mage responsible for the village harassment by Kobolds, you can come back to Gandolar for a 250 gp. reward.
2- JENKAL'S HOUSE:
Jenkal: An evil halfling who let the kobolds enter the village by a secret door situated in his basement and connecting his house to the Firewine Dungeon. If you ask him about the kobold smell in his house, he attacks you. He is easy to dispatch and is worth 290 Exp. There is also a Protection from Poison scroll in his basement.
Secret Door: Situated behind a bookcase in his basement. This is the best access to the Firewine Dungeon as you can kill the Ogre Mage without having to fight a horde of Kobold Commandos before. See the Firewine Dungeon for more details.
3- TEMPLE AND WINERY:
Alvanhendar: Offers all the basic services of a temple but nothing more. There is no descent shop or inn in town(in fact there is nothing else but this temple and a few houses).
Secret Door: There is a secret door in the basement of the temple connecting it to the Firewine Dungeon. Check out that area for more details.
4- HALFLING HOUSE:
There is a Wand of Magic Missiles in the chest situated in the basement.
5- HALFLING HOUSE:
There is a Sling +1 situated in the cupboard on the 1st floor.
6- HALFLING HOUSE:
There is a Potion of Defense(worth 350 gp.) in the chest situated in the basement.
7- DRAKAR, MOLKAR, HALACAN, MORVIN:
You guessed right, these 4 are assassins who are looking for you. They say that they are much better than the ones you met before, but this is false. In fact, the fight is moderately hard at best. Drakar is a cleric worth 1200 Exp. He wields a Morning Star +1. Molkar, the leader, is a fighter worth 1200 Exp. He wears a Chainmail +2 and wields a Long Sword +1. Morvin is a fighter worth 650 Exp. but he wields nothing of importance. Finally, Halacan is a mage worth 650 Exp. He casts such things as Mirrored Image. He also has 2 scrolls: Sleep and Color Spray. There are also 2 potions amongst their spoils: Potion of Heroism and Potion of Absorption.
