Overview
1 - Tent
Inside this tent you'll meet Frank Weathers (all the time), plus Bert Gunnarsson and Captain Parker (at night). If you ask Frank why he came to New Vegas then he'll give you the quest
Left My Heart. Gunnarsson and Parker are covered below (#2). In the back of the tent you'll find some meds, including
Rad-X and
Mentats.
2 - Plaza
This is where you'll meet Bert Gunnarsson and Captain Parker (during the day). Gunnarsson will heal you (for free). Parker will give you the quest
The Coyotes and also ask you to check up on Keith, and see if you can find any evidence that he's been dealing drugs or cheating at cards. This will result in you receiving the note "Investigate Keith's gambling and drug operations."
To investigate Keith, you'll just need to head over to Suite 200 (#3) and talk to him. With Barter 45 you'll be able to convince him to sell you
Jet. With Speech 60 you'll be able to convince him to teach you his trick to winning a Caravan. You can also learn his trick by picking up the
Marked Cards from the "red" desk in the southwestern part of the suite.
Afterwards, when you return to Parker, he'll reward you with 100-150 caps and 75-150 xp (depending on how many things you discovered about Keith). He'll then ask you to accompany him as he arrests Keith. If you go along with him, then you'll get to watch him gun down Keith, and you'll earn an additional 100 caps and 75 xp.
Note: You might not be able to finish the Keith mini-quest until you've completed the quest
The Coyotes.
3 - Suite 200
In this suite you'll meet Keith and some junkies. You'll also find a
Caravan Shotgun (on a shelf in the lobby), some
Fixer and
Jet (in the northern room), and some Caravan cards (in the "red" desk in the southwestern room).
4 - Suite 300
In this suite you'll find a copy of
Salesman Weekly (on the desk in the lobby), a copy of
Today's Physician (on a table in the lobby), a
.357 Magnum Revolver and some
.357 Magnum Rounds (in the "easy" locked men's bathroom), a collection of meds (inside some open safes in an office), and a
Sunset Sarsaparilla Star Bottle Cap (on the counter in the dining room). You might also meet some survivors of
Vault 34, depending on how you completed the quest
Hard Luck Blues.
