Overview

1 - NCR Camp

Somewhere near this camp you'll run into First Sergeant Astor and a few other NCR soldiers. Astor will give you the quests We Will All Go Together and Eye for an Eye. Also at the camp you'll find an "average" locked explosives crate (by the tent entrance), plus a first aid box and a gun case (inside the tent).


2 - Turrets

Nearby each pair of turrets, you'll find a terminal that, if hacked, will allow you to "activate turret defense system" so the turrets will help you to defeat the ghouls and radscorpions in the area.


3 - Police Station

The police station will start out locked. You'll gain access to it during the quest Wheel of Fortune. You can also get the key to it by killing Logan (#8). Inside the police station, you'll find some ammunition boxes (most of which will probably be empty).


4 - Church Basement

Inside the basement you'll get attacked by a pair of golden geckos, but you'll find two Mini Nukes (or three Holy Frag Grenades if you have the Wild Wasteland trait) and a copy of the Chinese Army: Spec. Ops. Training Manual.


5 - Elementary School

Inside the school you'll encounter a pair of golden geckos, and you'll find some toys (including Dino Toys) and a first aid box.


6 - Fire Station

The fire station will start out locked. You'll gain access to it during the quest Wheel of Fortune. You can also get the key to it by killing Logan (#8). Inside the fire station, you'll get attacked by a radscorpion queen, but you'll find a Weapon Repair Kit (in a shelf in the garage), the unique weapon Knock Knock (in a bathroom stall), and a Sunset Sarsaparilla Star Bottle Cap (on a table in the dining hall).

Note: You'll also discover that the fire station was the source of the "radiation bomb" that contaminated Camp Searchlight.


7 - Home

Inside this home you'll meet Private Edwards. He's involved in the quest We Will All Go Together. You can also find a copy of Meeting People here (on the bedroom dresser).


8 - NCR Storage

Inside this storage basement, you'll meet Logan and a pair of prospectors. Logan will give you the quest Wheel of Fortune. Also in the storage area, you'll find some meds and ammunition in the shelves, plus an "average" terminal with an "average" safe in the back. To open the safe, you'll need to pick its lock or hack the terminal, but inside you probably won't find much of interest.

Note: If you don't want to deal with the quest Wheel of Fortune, which will grant you access to the police station (#3) and the fire station (#6), then you can also kill Logan and loot the keys to those buildings from his corpse.
