Overview
You can easily find 50+ bottles of
Sunset Sarsaparilla inside and outside the headquarters building (primarily in the bottling room, #7), plus hundreds of
Empty Sunset Sarsaparilla Bottles (all over the place). You can also pick up a copy of
Meeting People (from a picnic table just to the south of the building).
1 - Festus
If you ask Festus about "Star Info," then he'll give you the quest
The Legend of the Star. If you tell Festus "I Feel Lucky," then he'll play Lucky Horseshoes with you. If you beat Festus at Lucky Horseshoes, then you'll win a few bottle caps, a
Sunset Sarsaparilla Star Bottle Cap, or a Caravan playing card.
Note: After completing the quest
A Valuable Lesson, you won't be able to talk to Festus any more.
2 - Coffee Table
On the table here you'll find a copy of
Programmer's Digest.
3 - Janitor's Room
Inside this room you'll find a Mr. Janitor robot. If you hack the "average" terminal on the desk nearby, then you'll be able to activate the robot, which will proceed to make a sweep of the main floor of the headquarters and pick up trash. At the end of its run, it will put the trash (including roughly 550 bottle caps) into the garbage can outside the office.
4 - Break Room
Amusingly, you'll find a
Fresh Apple on a table here.
5 - Shipping Room
You'll find an "average" terminal in this room. If you hack it then you'll learn some background information about the facility. You'll also find dozens of crates containing
Empty Sunset Sarsaparilla Bottles.
6 - Cubicles
The debris from the collapsed ceiling here will allow you to travel between the main floor and the upper floor.
7 - Bottling Room
You'll find a bunch of
Sunset Sarsaparilla in this room (in the crates). You'll also find a staircase that will allow you to travel between the main floor and the upper floor.
8 - Staircase
This staircase will allow you to reach Brody's office (#9).
9 - Brody's Office (Main Floor)
If you can pick the "very hard" lock on the door, then inside the office you'll find a terminal where you can read three pages of automated messages from the robots in the facility.
10 - Paige's Office (Upper Floor)
Inside this office you'll find a "very easy" terminal, an "average" wall safe containing a
Sunset Sarsaparilla Star Bottle Cap, and another
Fresh Apple. You'll be able to use the hole in the floor here to climb down to the main floor and reach the storage room (#10).
11 - Storage Room (Main Floor)
This room will start out locked, and you'll only be able to open it during the quest
A Valuable Lesson. Inside the room you'll find over 1000 bottle caps (in the Sunset Sarsaparilla crates), numerous
Sunset Sarsaparilla Deputy Badges, and
Pew Pew (on the floor next to the corpse of Allen Marks).
