Castle Never

1 – LORD NASHER AND AARIN

Lord Nasher and Aarin Gend will be waiting for you here at the start of Chapter 4 when you will be returning back to the city of Neverwinter to save it from the Luskan forces that are already besieging the town. Speak with both of them to learn the status of the war and for their advice as of what to do first. After talking with Aarin, he will tell you to seek Haedraline down to the dungeon of the castle where she is held prisoner and ask for her help, since you might be the only person that will talk to. This is also the first thing you will have to do at Chapter 4.

Later on when you retrieve the fourth Word of Power come back here and inform both about Maugrim's defeat as well as the course of action you took with Aribeth. If you managed to save Aribeth she will be waiting for you down to the dungeon.


2 – EXIT TO CASTLE DUNGEON

From the door here you will be taken down to the castle's dungeon where Haedraline can be found.


3 – EXIT TO CITY CORE

Use the large door to reach the City Core area of the Neverwinter town.

4 – EXIT BACK TO THE CASTLE

The stairs will take you back to the main area of Castle Never.


5 – HAEDRALINE

Haedraline the leader of the Word slave has been brought here but she is not willing to talk to anyone but you. Once you have finished your conversation with Lord Nather and Aarin at the start of the chapter come here and talk with Haedraline. She will then ask you to bring her back the fourth and last Word of Power before it is too late, in an effort to prevent her queen Morag from awaking the Old Ones.

Once the Word of Power is in your possessions, return to Haedraline for further instructions. She will inform you that she is no longer able to stop her queen for she has grown too strong but there is still hope. According to her you must enter the Source Stone and defeat Morag at her sanctum before she will be able to grow to her full power and awaken her people.

For bringing the fourth Word of Power back to Haedraline you will be rewarded will 2000 experience points.


6 – ARIBETH

If you choose to save Aribeth instead of killing her, assuming you had her ring from the previous chapters, she will willingly return back to the castle to surrender and pay for her crimes. Lord Nasher however will not execute her as he did with Fenthick but will instead imprison her here until he decides what to do. You will then be able to have a last chat with her and she will be having some interesting things to say especially if your character is male.


7 – EXIT TO THE CASTLE CAVERNS

The stairs from here will take you down to the Castle caverns which are the place that holds the location of the Source Stone.

8 – EXIT TO THE CASTLE DUNGEON

You can use the exit from here to return back to Castle Dungeon area.


9 – MASTER FORD

Some archeologists led by Master Ford can be found in this room. Speak with Master Ford and he will give you some information about the Source Stone which was hidden beneath the castle for all this time. Apparently according to Master Ford there must be another place inside the Source Stone but before you can uncover its secrets you will need to retrieve the fourth and last Word of Power.


10 – SOURCE STONE

The Source Stone is locked for now and you cannot enter it. In order to enter the source stone you will need to find the remaining Word of Power.

When you do have the last Word of Power from Maugrim's Sanctuary come here again and place it inside the pedestal near the Stone. Doing so will open the way into the world inside the Source Stone where you will confront Morag in the final fight.
