Host Tower Level Four

1 – HOST TOWER TELEPORTER

By using the Portal Stones on the pillar you can access different levels of the Tower.


2 – CORPSE OF ARTENO GETH

After fighting a few Host Tower Guards and apprentices search the body laying on the floor here and you will find Arteno's Journal. Apparently this was his body. The journal mentions something about a device that controls the Flesh Golem in this level. A note on the desk reveals the cause of the contaminated water at the Luskan sewers which is nothing else that the apprentice experiments at the Tower.


3 – GOLEM CONTROL ROD

The chest here contains the Golem Control Rod. You will need it later at area #5.


4 – GOLEM REPLICATION ROD

The chest in this small circular room contains the Golem Replication Rob. You will also need this at area #5.


5 – GOLEM REPLICATION POD

Put both the Control and Replications Rods taken from areas #4 and #5 into the Replication Pod in this room and the Helm Horror will appear. You will also be rewarded with 50 experience points. The Helm Horror will slowly advance at the door near area #6 and break it down thus clearing the way to this area for you.


6 – RIMARDO DOMINE

Immediately after the door to this area is broken you will be put up against several Host Tower Guards and apprentices, an Iron Golem and Rimardo Domine. This is a tough fight so be prepared and proceed with caution. When you bring Rimardo down to "badly injured" he will surrender and speak to you.

He will then inform you of how Maugrim gained power over the Tower and the wizards, and why he is now creating an army to march against the North. You can also persuade him to tell you what Maugrim seeks so badly that he needs a whole army to invade the North and Neverwinter. Rimardo then will tell you something about the Words of Power, whatever that this, that Maugrim seeks to give them to his mistress. He will also mention that Lady Aribeth was seduced by Maugrim and there might be hope to save her still. When you are done talking to him you can let him flee or kill him. If you decide to let him flee you will gain a 3 point alignment shift towards good but first ask his to give you all of his possessions.

Rimardo gives/drops a Ring of Clear Thought +2, a Ring of Protection +2, a letter about some war golems and some other random items.


7 – 7TH FLOOR PORTAL STONE

A trapped chest here contains a 7th floor Portal Stone and some random loot.
