Moonwood

1 – EXIT TO BEORUNNA'S WELL

Follow the path from here to get back to Beorunna's Well.


2 – ORC FIRE ARCHERS

The bridge at this area is well guarded by several Orc Fire Archers so proceed with caution. When you defeat the Orcs don't forget to loot the corpses and debris nearby.


3 – EXIT TO ORC LAIR

This is the entrance to the Orc Lair here at Moonwood. Inside you can expect to find King Obould Many-Arrow but only after killing the other two bandit-Orcs Vaath and Guzud.


4 – HEAVY ENCOUNTER

A moderate fight awaits you here. As soon as you reach this area you will be attacked by several more Orc Fire Archers, Orc Shamans, a few Ogre Berserkers and a couple of Winter Wolves. There are some corpses and various containers to be looted here as well.


5 – GIANTS!

This will probably be your first encounter with Giants in the game. Two Hill Giants and an Ettin are waiting for trespassers. As you will soon find out Giants, can hit pretty hard but they are easier to hit as well. Just avoided fight several Giants at once and you will have no problem.


6 – UTHGARDT TRIBE OF THE EAGLE

A few Uthgardt warriors from the tribe of the Eagle occupy this small tent here. After a talk with them, you will find out that the tribe has been attacked from the Hill giants and that it is strange for the Hill Giants to do so. Ixaristu their leader is also located here. Speak with him and he will tell you that his warriors are injured from the fight with the Hill Giants and you can offer to heal them if you like, but they will not ask for such a boon themselves. If you are a divine caster and you have some healing spells prepared, talking with the Warriors you will be given another conversation option to heal them. This is the only way you can actually heal the warriors since casting healing spell on them or using healing kits will not work. You will have to talk with them first. For healing each warrior you will be rewarded with 25 experience points. When you heal all three of them talk with Ixaristu again and he will reward you further more with a topaz Gem and 100 gold pieces. You can also persuade him for a further reward but I have never succeeded even though my Paladin had a high persuasion skill so I do not know what more can you get from him. However if you choose to threaten the leader for more reward it will only trigger a fight with him and his warriors.


7 – EXIT TO MOONWOOD (NORTH-EAST)

The path will take you to another area of Moonwood where the Hill Giants Lair and the Green Dragon Cave are located.
