Seedy Tavern

1 - MAIN ENTRANCE

This is the main entrance to the tavern. You can only enter from here if you have dressed up like a Bloodsailor or paid Avista 5 smugglers coins.


2 - BACK ENTRANCE

This is the back entrance to the tavern. You need a specific key to enter from here which can be found at the Locked House out at the Docks District area.


3 - CHRISTOV AND JALEK

Here you'll encounter a half-orc named Jalek and his counterpart Christov. If you have a high Constitution, accept Jalek's challenge of a drinking match. You will have to drink booze all the way up to Scurrd, after which Jalek will pass out. This will earn Jalek's respect, and get Christov to speak with you. He'll hand you the Tavern Key, which will get you downstairs where the Bloodsailor Hideout can be found. Is you do not have high constitution you will still be able to win the drinking match by using a potion of Endurance.

Also be sure to talk with the auctioneer and purchase some of his magic items. He has a standard store full of equipment, along with some special magic items that he'll let go for Smuggler's Coins. Here's a list of what you can purchase if you have enough Smuggler's Coins: Morning Star +1 (5 coins), Leather Armor +1 (5 coins), Sash of Shimmering (8 coins), Large Shield +1 (9 coins), Longsword +1 (10 coins), Nymph Cloak +1 (14 coins), Breastplate +1 (15 coins), Double Axe +1 (15 coins).


4 - ULGDOG

The stairs will take you to the upper level of the Tavern. In one the rooms there you will find a strange dwarf called Ulgdog enjoying his sauna. Talk with him for a while and he will let you know the password you need to get pass Chef downstairs and enter the Bloodsailor Hideout. The password is "cornerstone".


5 - CHEF

To get down to the hideout, you'll have to get past the Chef here. He'll ask for a password, but a successful persuasion check will get you past. You can also learn the password from Ulgdog at area #4. If you are having trouble persuading your way, bashing the door works as well.


6 - EXIT TO THE BLOODSAILOR HIDEOUT

After you get pass Chef you can use the stairs here and get down to the Bloodsailor Hideout.

7 - EXIT BACK TO SEEDY TAVERN

Use the stairs to return back to the tavern.


8 - BLOODSAILORS

These rooms are well guarded by several Bloodsailors. Defeat them and search the containers there for some random loot.


9 - BLOODSAILOR LIEUTENANT

A Bloodsailor Lieutenant will try to prevent you from getting downstairs. His is tougher from the normal Bloodsailor so be careful. When he is defeat search the place for some goodies and magic items. The trapped chest contains a Diamond and possibly a random magic item.


10 - DEEPER INTO THE HIDEOUT

The stairs from here will take you even deeper into the Bloodsailor Hideout.

11 - STAIRS

Use the stairs here to return back to the first area of the Hideout.


12 - MORE BLOODSAILORS

Inside these two rooms you will have to fight several Bloodsailors led by a Bloodsailor Lieutenant at the same time. The loot from the containers though will worth your time spending defeating them.


13 - DARA'NEI

Dara'nei is the beloved of Vengaul the current leader of the Bloodsailors. However she is now help captive from Callik's men in a effort to make her reveal the location of Vengaul. Defeat the Bloodsailors guarding the room and have a talk with her afterwards. One of the Bloodsailors will drop a note. The note mentions that Callik has tracked down Vengual and he is leading a group against him down at the Dock's Aqueduct System. This particular note also contains information as of how to unlock the gate down at the Aqueducts and it is actually considered a key so keep it with you once you get down there. Dara'nei will also give you her locket if you are planning to search for Vengaul as well. The locked opens a locked door the Silver Sails Trading Company that leads to a different portion of the Aqueducts but eventually will get you to the Sewers where you will find both Vengaul and Callik.


14 - EXIT BACK TO THE DOCKS DISTRICT

The exit here will take you back to the Docks area.
