Fire Giant Lair (East)

1 – EXIT TO FIRE GIANT LAIR

From this exit you can return back to the first area of the Fire Giant Lair.


2 – KING SCORCH

Be prepared for a tough fight here. When you enter the room you will have to face the King of the Fire Giant called Scorch. The King is accompanied by a Hell Hound and a Huge Fire Elemental. You might need to recruit one of the tank henchmen for this fight and you can always use the Stone of Recall if things get bad. When you eventually defeat him, he will drop a Ritual Book and the Pass Amulet. The ritual book describes the process of binding a young magical accelerated Dragon body for Klauth to devour. However the interesting part of the book is the part that mentions that if you feed Klauth with a dead dragon body will severely weaken him. A chest nearby contains a powerful random magical item and a few other treasures.


3 – LOCKED GATE

You will need to defeat King Scorch and acquire the Pass Amulet from area #2 before you will be able to pass though this gate. Once with the Amulet in your possessions you can continue further into the Fire Giant Lair and eventually to the Lair of the terrible Red Dragon, Klauth.


4 – TROLLS AND SLAADS

Several Trolls and Slaads await you in this area. Though they might not provide a challenge the Grey Slaad can cause some problems if you're caught unprepared. When you defeat them continue deeper into the Lair of the Fire Giant.


5 – ENTRANCE TO THE SLAAD CAVERN

This staircase will take you down to the Slaad Cavern.


6 – ENTRANCE TO THE DRAGON CAVE

This staircase will take you down to the Dragon Cave.


7 – ENTRANCE TO KLAUTH'S LAIR

This staircase will take you down the Lair of the Red Dragon, Klauth.
