War Zone |
1 – EXIT BACK TO THE CITY CORE
Use the exit from the area to return back to the City Core area.
2 – CAPTURED HOUSES
In several of the houses along the War Zone you will have to fight small groups of the Luskan Forces that usually consist of some trained Krenshars, a few Luskan Archers and a Captain. Minor loot can also be found inside these houses.
3 – LEESA
A little girl that goes by the name Leesa is wondering frightened around here. Leesa is actually the small sister of Luce, one of the girls in the Moonstone Mask. If you visited Moonstone Mask before, you will know that Luce is looking for her and she will ask for your help to find Leesa. Once the girl is found instruct her to return back to her sister at the Moonstone Mask. Don't forget to return back to the Moonstone Mask afterwards for your reward.
4 – WIZARD CHANTRIES
These two houses have now become Wizard Chantries and are used to control the War Golems in this area. Inside each of these houses you will have to fight the wizard responsible for controlling one of the Siege Golems outside. The wizard however is accompanied by a Balor Lord. Only when you defeat the Balor and the wizard you can actually damage the Siege Golems outside and thus defeat them.
5 – UMBER HULKS
Some of the houses marked with #5 do not contain the usual groups of Luskan archers and trained Krenshars but are now residence for some trained Umber Hulks under the command of a Luskan Animal Handler. Some random treasures can also be found inside the houses as well.
6 – OLD MAN'S HOUSE
Inside this house you will meet a blind old man called Asgard. After talking with him he will let you know that there is a secret passage from the bookshelf inside his house that leads to area #7 and to the other side of the gate outside. You can choose this route if you like to avoid as many Luskan forces as you can or get pass the main Gate outside at the War Zone without breaking it. Keep in mind however that the gate is heavily guarded and you will still need to find a way to defeat the Siege Golems.
7 – SNEAKY ROUTE
You will be transferred here in this area after using the passage from the bookshelf inside the Old Man's House at area #6.
8 – LUSKAN GUARDHOUSE
Be prepared for a tough fight before you enter this building. The house is now used as the headquarters for the Luskan Forces and inside you will have to fight some high level Luskan soldiers. A cleric, a monk, an assassin and a wizard might prove a well-balanced and powerful party to defeat, so proceed with caution.
9 – STRANGE COURTYARD
As soon as you reach the area from the Luskan Guardhouse at area #8 you will be attacked by a Half-Dragon Baalor. Though the Baalor is an impressive and powerful creature the fact that he is alone is enough for you to best him without major problems. Once the Baalor is defeated a portal will appear nearby that will take you to Maugrim's Sanctuary.
