Overview
1 - Zaeed
If you have the Zaeed DLC installed, then this is where you'll meet Zaeed. You won't have to do anything other than talk to him to get him to join your crew.
2 - Captain Gavorn
Gavorn is in charge of keeping the vorcha "in line." Later, you'll meet a vorcha (#13) who will mention Gavorn, but the pair isn't involved in any quests.
3 - Kylan
You'll meet a tough guy named Kylan here. If you resolve the matter with the paragon dialogue option, then you'll receive +5 paragon points. If you resolve it with the renegade dialogue option, then you'll receive +5 renegade points.
4 - Merc Recruiter / Private Room
The recruiter (#4) is involved in the dossier mission
Archangel. He won't have anything to say to you until after you've spoken to Aria (#7). But then once he's accepted your credentials, he'll allow you to enter the private room (#4a).
5 - Grizz
Grizz is one of Aria's (#7) bodyguards. Once you've completed one of the dossier missions on Omega
(
Archangel or
The Professor), Grizz will give you the assignment "The Patriarch." He'll tell you that some Blood Pack mercs have it in for the Patriarch (#12), and he'll ask you to move the old krogan to safety.
There are three ways to complete the assignment:
- You can convince Patriarch to hide. This will earn you +4 paragon points
- You can convince Patriarch to die gloriously. This will earn you +2 paragon points and +5 renegade points.
- You can convince Patriarch to let you stand in as his "krantt." You'll then have to kill the two Blood Pack mercs yourself (they'll show up at either exit from the Afterlife), but you'll earn +7 paragon points, plus either +2 renegade points or an additional +2 paragon points depending on what you say to Patriarch after completing the good deed.
Regardless of the option you choose, after dealing with Patriarch, you'll have to return to Grizz and Aria (#7), which will net you an additional 40 xp and 3000 credits.
6 - Anto
Anto is one of Aria's (#7) bodyguards. He's involved in the assignment "Packages for Ish" (see #19).
7 - Aria T'Loak
Aria is the "boss, CEO, queen" of Omega. She's involved in several missions and assignments, including
Archangel,
The Professor,
The Ardat-Yakshi, "Datapad Recovered" (from the
Archangel mission), and "The Patriarch" (see #5).
After completing two assignments for Aria, she'll reward your service by telling you about a cache of goods on the planet
Daratar (Faryar / Hourglass Nebula). This will trigger the assignment "Eclipse Smuggling Depot," which you'll complete when you complete the mission on the planet.
8 - Bartender
If you picked up the "Serrice Ice Brandy" assignment while on the
Normandy, then this is one of the places where you can purchase a bottle.
9 - Helena Blake
If Helena Blake survived her encounter with you in the original Mass Effect, then you'll meet her here, and you'll learn that she's turned her life around and has become a social worker.
10 - Forvan
Forvan is involved in the assignment "The Batarian Bartender." If you order a drink from him, then he'll poison you, and you'll later learn that he hates humans. When you confront Forvan next, you'll have three ways of dealing with him:
- You can walk away. Forvan will promise never to poison anyone again, and you'll earn +7 paragon points.
- You can incite the crowd. This will cause a turian named Ogrinn to shoot and kill Forvan, and you'll earn +5 paragon points.
- You can force Forvan to drink his own poison. It'll kill him, and you'll gain +5 renegade points.
Regardless of the option you choose, you'll also gain 40 xp, and eventually a regular bartender will replace Forvan at the bar.
11 - Fist
If Fist survived his encounter with you in Mass Effect, then you'll find him at the bar here. He won't be happy to see you, but nothing will come of the encounter (other than possibly +2 paragon or renegade points).
12 - Patriarch
Patriarch is involved in the assignment "The Patriarch," which you'll receive from Grizz (#5) after completing one of the dossier missions in Omega. See Grizz's entry for more information.
13 - Shisk
The vorcha Shisk will rant about Captain Gavorn (#2) and about killing people, and then he'll leave. This exchange won't lead to anything.
14 - Kenn / Kenn's Salvage
At Kenn's Salvage you'll be able to buy
Heavy Skin Weave and
Nashan Stellar Dynamics T6-FBA Couplings (for the assignment "FBA Couplings," received on the
Normandy), and upgrades for
Heavy Weapon Ammo and
Shotgun Damage.
If you use the paragon or renegade dialogue options when you talk to Kenn, then you'll convince him to give you a 17% discount at his shop. If you ask Kenn why his prices are so high, then you'll trigger the assignment "Struggling Quarian." Kenn will tell you that he started his shop so he could raise enough money to leave the space station, but that he promised Harrot (#16) that he wouldn't undercut him, and so Harrot controls his prices.
There are three ways you can resolve the situation:
- You can threaten Harrot and force him to let Kenn set his own prices. To appease you, Harrot will give you a 17% discount in his store. You'll also earn +5 paragon points.
- You can convince Harrot to buy out Kenn. Harrot will like the idea so much that he'll give you a 17% discount at his store (and also at Kenn's Salvage). You'll also earn +5 renegade points.
- You can pay Kenn 1000 credits so he can afford to leave Omega. This will earn you +5 paragon points. You can choose this option even after using the paragon approach with Harrot, giving you the possibility of +10 paragon points total.
Regardless of what you decide, you'll also earn 40 xp.
15 - Marsh / Omega Market
At the Omega Market you'll be able to buy an upgrade for
Sniper Rifle Damage, plus
Fornax,
Model - Turian Cruiser, and
Stimulator Conduits. After completing the mission on the
Collector Ship, you'll also be able to purchase
Stabilization Gauntlets and
Strength Boost Pads.
If you use the paragon or renegade dialogue options when you talk to Marsh, then he'll give you the "uppity human discount" of 17% at his shop.
16 - Harrot / Harrot's Emporium
At Harrot's Emporium you'll be able to buy
Capacitor Chestplate,
Hack Module,
Model Ship 13 - Geth Ship, and
Kuwashii Visor. After completing the mission on the
Collector Ship, you'll also be able to purchase
Ordnance Packs.
Harrot is involved in the assignment "Struggling Quarian," which you can pick up from Kenn (#14). The only way you can convince Harrot to give you a discount is through that assignment.
17 - Mad Prophet
"Repent! The end is nigh!" The prophet isn't involved in any missions or assignments. He's just there for color.
18 - Apartment
The apartment is involved in Samara's loyalty mission
The Ardat-Yakshi. You won't be able to enter the apartment unless you're on the mission.
19 - Ish
After completing the mission on
Horizon, a salarian named Ish will show up here, and he'll give you the assignment "Packages for Ish." Ish will ask you to pick up two packages for him -- one outside Saronis Applications on the
Citadel (sitting on a crate), and one inside the Eternity Bar on
Illium (sitting on a couch in the back) -- and he'll assure you that the packages don't contain anything "illicit."
Note: If you have Jacob or Miranda with you, then they'll recognize Ish -- but not in a good way. "If we don't walk away, I promise he'll give you a reason to shoot him."
When you examine the packages, you'll discover that they involve information about Anto (#6), and this will give you a variety of ways to complete the assignment:
- You can give the packages to Ish. This will earn you +5 renegade points, 4500 credits, and 40 xp.
- You can convince Ish that he's in the wrong business. This will earn you 3375 credits and 40 xp, but the assignment won't properly close, and you'll be stuck with it for the remainder of the campaign.
- You can show the packages to Anto and convince him that the information would hurt Aria (#7). This will earn you +5 paragon points. You'll also get the opportunity to blackmail Anto. If you do, then you'll receive 2250 credits and 40 xp. If you don't, then you won't receive anything extra.
- You can show the packages to Anto but not convince him anything about Aria. You won't receive any reward for this.
Note: If you pick up both packages before returning to Omega, then you'll have to hand them both in at the same time, and you'll receive one of the rewards listed above. But if you collect only one package before returning, then you'll be able to give that package to Ish (for 1125 credits) and then pick up the second package and do whatever you want with it. At worst you'll end up with the same number of credits overall (if you give the second package to Ish). At best you'll receive 1125 credits extra (if you convince Ish to stop selling information, or if you go to Anto).
Another Note: There isn't any way to show the information to Aria.
Exits:
- Docking Area. Clicking on the door to the docking area will allow you to get back on board the
Normandy, or change the crewmembers in your current party.
- Transport Depot. During the mission
Archangel, you'll be able to talk to a Blue Suns driver here to be transported to the mission map.
- Afterlife VIP Door. You'll only be allowed through this door during Samara's loyalty mission
The Ardat-Yakshi.
- Shuttle to Quarantine Zone. During the mission
The Professor, you'll be able to talk to the guard here to be transported to the mission map.
